Bangkok Asok to Khao Yai

For travelers staying in central Bangkok, Asok is a useful reference point when estimating the journey to Khao Yai.

From Asok, the taxi can travel east and north through Bangkok before continuing toward Khao Yai. The total journey time depends on whether you are heading toward the Prachin Buri side or Pak Chong side, as well as your final hotel or attraction.

Asok to Khao Yai (Prachin Buri)

The journey from Asok to the Prachin Buri side of Khao Yai usually takes around 2.5 to 3 hours under normal traffic conditions.

The southern entrance, known as the Noen Hom Entrance, is located in Prachin Buri and is reached via Nakhon Nayok before continuing along Highway 3077 toward Khao Yai National Park. The national park lists this Bangkok route at approximately 190 km to the Noen Hom Visitor Center.

Travel time may be longer during Bangkok rush hours, weekends, holidays, or periods of heavy traffic.

Asok to Khao Yai (Pak Chong)

The journey from Asok to the Pak Chong side of Khao Yai usually takes around 3 to 3.5 hours, depending on traffic and your exact destination.

The Pak Chong entrance is the northern entrance to Khao Yai National Park. The official park information gives approximately 205 km from Bangkok to the Chao Por Khao Yai Shrine Visitor Center, with the final section continuing along Thanarat Road toward the park.

Many hotels, resorts, wineries, and attractions commonly referred to as “Khao Yai” are located around Pak Chong and Thanarat Road, rather than inside the national park itself.

Prachin Buri or Pak Chong?

Khao Yai is not a single small destination. The national park has two main entrance areas: Noen Hom in Prachin Buri and Chao Por Khao Yai Shrine in Pak Chong. The two entrances are on opposite sides of the park, with a road running approximately 50 km through the national park.

When booking a Bangkok to Khao Yai taxi, please provide your hotel name, resort, attraction, or exact destination. This allows us to confirm the appropriate fare and give you a more accurate estimated travel time.

These are approximate driving times. Actual travel time can vary according to your pickup location, destination, traffic, weather, and road conditions.

Choose Your Khao Yai Destination

If you are staying at a hotel or resort outside the national park, the journey may be shorter or longer than the time shown above. Popular destinations around Pak Chong and Thanarat Road can also be several kilometres away from the national park entrance.

For this reason, we recommend booking with your exact destination rather than simply providing “Khao Yai” as the drop-off point.

Bangkok Hotel Pickup

We can arrange pickup from hotels and accommodations throughout Bangkok, including the Asok, Sukhumvit, Siam, Silom, Sathorn, and Riverside areas.
